I would like to ask the Meeting to be good enough to

call Mr Raven, of the firm of Teaser and Raven, Architects

He made a statement to me in November of last year to say

that he went to 164 Queens Road Central, the house at

the crossing of Aberdeen Street. His mission was to see

the occupier there about some alterations, and he was

told that the District Inspector had been round, who told

the occupier that there was no occasion for him to

deposit a plan for these alterations, but if the occupier would give him $50, hẹ would see the matter through.

And you think Mr Raven will give evidence to that

effect ?
