Referring to question 3977, on page 523, Doctor Pearce makes the following statement:-
I rather think I have conveyed the impression that this
case of typhoid occurred before I spoke to Dr Atkinson
about the Chungshawan
that it did. The date
was the 20th June 1904.

It appears here that I was sure that the question of invaliding Mr Bryan was based upon the Chungshawan Cemetery, plus the drainage of Wongneicheong, but I cannot be quite certain that both occurred together. I looked up the date of the typhoid case, and found it in

I want to ask just a couple of questions, Doctor Pearce. Since you were here, we have bean examining Inspector Frith, Inspector Frith applied to be moved from one District to another, and in doing se, he said, he made
no application in writing, but he cane personally to
see you, and that you made the necessary order for his
removal from one District to another.
It was a mutual transfer, Dr Pearce.

himself. I want to know if that is so ?
