As far as I know there is not. I raised that question some time ago, and the result is that a plan has lately been sent down by the Public Works Department, but it is too small for the purpose of that Bye Law. I spoke on this question, only a day or two ago. Dr Macfarlane and I went in to see Dr Clark specially about it, and after some discussion about the Bye Lawa - 11 and 13 were not complied with - he turned up a big register in the office, and I asked Dr Clark and he agreed that the keeping of the register in the office instead of at the cemetery was a sufficient carrying out of the Bye Law.
I think With reference to the keeping of registeres it might be some ten days ago

to all the Inspectors of cemeteries asking if they carried out Bye Laws 11 and 13, and I got various
answers.

keep some sort of register in Chinese.
You have never seen any of these registers ?
No register kept in English or Chinese which are kept
near the cemetery.
