to say if this is the man (pointing to Shan Loi) to whom you gave that book, concerning which you gave evidence before the Commission the other day (Book produced).

This is the man who had the book the other day.

Pang says that when he and his brother, and friends,

he and he alone had that book handed to him.

I said only about wanting to search the accounts. The statement nade is that this book was handed to Sham

Loi; afterwards it was discovered that a certain entry.

in that book had been obliterated; now, the Commission are satisfied that that obliteration was made by Shan

Lol.
