Report on the Boundaries of the Colony of Hong Kong.

We consider that from a naval and military point of view, an extension and readjustment of the boundaries of the Colony of Hong Kong is desirable, so as to include within the British possessions the waters of the eastern and western approaches, the interior waters between them, and the two islands, Waglan and Gap Rock, upon which the lighthouses are built.

The limits of the Colony would then be defined as follows, and would appear as marked upon the accompanying chart:-

Western Boundary.--The meridian of 114° 5' E., including, however, the western point of Chunghue Island.

Southern Boundary. The parallel of 22° 9′ N.
