During the course of a discussion on the proposed restoration of the civil administration in Hong Kong and the re-appointment of the civil Governor, it was recalled that the Wr Office hal been asked to examine the implications of postonin the changeover from militry to civil ministration from the proposal date, 1st April 1946.

THE COMMITTEE:-

Invited the War Office to complete

and circulate their report on this subjects a mitter of urgency.
