DRAFT ANNOUNCEMENT
Sir Mark Young will be returning to Hong Kong to resume his appointment ns Governor and Commander-in- Chief towards the end of April. The military
authorities will hand over the administration of the
Colony to Sir Mark Young on his arrival. His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve of an extension of the term of Sir Mark Young's appointment as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Hong Kong for
such period as will enable him to serve for one year
from the date on which ho resumes his duties.
