The Secretary Chiefs of Staff Committee has informed me that the Colonial Office have

29 approved the paper (J) (46) 34(Final) on the

Command of Services in HONG KONG after the resumption of civil Government, and that you wish to be sent a copy of the instructions sent out to the Service Commanders there.

I accordingly attach a copy of the instructions that I am having despatched to G.0.C. Land Forces HONG KONG.
