The water supply, which was pumped from water bonts or from local catchment to water towers on top of the Island, requires detailed examination, and extensive repairs and new machinery will be necessary.

EAST ED: Quarters have been well looted, but except for

the Group V officers Quarters, extensive structural repairs are not needed.
