CONCLUSIONS.

1.

At the overall defense policy for the Far East is not yet

knam and there is no novlodge of the forces which could be called upon from claya or other areas in the event of hostilities of any nature, this appreciation has been made ut on the assumption that no additional support would be for rating except where so stated.

The Colcay of HONG KONG cannot be defended for long against

attack by a major power.
