In addition to construction of new permanent barracks extensive reconstruction will be required on existing barracks:
VICTORIA BARRACKS are badly damaged, and are old fashioned. They will require improvement and rehabilitation.

WALITF LEID BARLICKS. Although little damago has been done, the barracks do not come up to modern standards. built to accommolate Indian troops and require much alteration to fit them for any troops, particularly British.
SHA SHUI PO BARRACKS. Temporary hutted barracks.
ARGYLE STREET CALIF. Ihittod camp quite unsuitable as permanent barracks.
Brief technical engisor report on ilitary buildings is attached at Appendix "3".
