(Previous Reference: C.0.S.(6) 20th Mtz. Min. 6) THE COMMITTEE considered a revised report by the Joint Planning Staff on the Hong Kong defence plan.
SIR DOUGLAS EVILL said that the question of the formation of volunteer or auxiliary forces could not be decided upon until the scale of defences to be provided
He suggested that at Hong Kong had been recommended. paragraph 9(c) be amended by the addition at the end of the sub paragraph of the phrase "taking into account any decisions that may arise on (b) above.
