The Governor General states that there are four batteries of Artillery, one company of Seguicers, and a battation of depantry, with four more batteries in the vicinity. The Committer are in ignorance of the actual thength of there units, but they are of opinion that the total fore, considering the importance of the position should not be less than 2000 men
