The Colonial Defence Committe propose an outlay by the Dominion Lovernment of no less than a "Maximum sum of £50,000 or £42,000 according to whichever proposed alternative is adopted - and subject- also to a further probable deduction 1 of £ 11-200. for Charlottetown, but in the smallest estimate about £36,000

Sterting-

It is propped this Government should purchase 19. Seven ton, 7 Inch Muzzle loading, rifled Suns, and 19 Sixly - four pounder rifled Suns- The first named Suns are stated to Cost- £1000 each-

The latter £600 each_
