Since this meeting we have received the
despatch promised in the Hong Kong telegram at (108),
giving further details of the Stonecutter's Island
project. I have also spoken to Mr. Morrish of
the M.C.A., who enquired whether we had any
information to give him which would help in briefing
the survey party. I understand that this briefing
is likely to take place on the 16th and I suggest
that we should send a copy of the despatch at (109)
to the M.C.A., together with a letter requesting that
this project be investigated by the survey party.
