Meeting agreed Not repeat Not possible reduce requirements of
transmitting and receiving channels, Those detailed in Minutes of
Meeting 28th February are essential minimum.
Receiver channels may be
considerably increased to meet "Y" requirements which Not repeat Not
yet finalised.

Appears to be some misunderstanding of our actual intentions
regarding land for sites. Following given in amplification of Minutes
previous meeting.
(1) Not repeat Not essential have exclusive rights over two areas
of 250 acres, but two areas this size considered desirable to
accommodate aerial systems if optimum results to be obtained.
(2) Essential land requirements are
(A) Exclusive use at each site of minimum area of land necessary
to accommodate Main Transmitter or Receiver House plus
amillary buildings. These areas to be fenced in for
security and might possibly be of order of 20 to 30 acres
depending on final plan of station.
(B) Exclusive use of strip of land sufficiently wide and long
to provide adequate carriage way to each site
(c) Outside of compounds rights to instal masts and associated
feeders lines for aerial system. This could be obtained by
either (i) Purchase of mall plots and/or strips of land
or (ii) lease of appropriate land from present owners. (iii)
Possibly combination of both.
(D) Fully appreciate importance food growing and in (C)(i)
L
maximum possible amount of land round masts be leased to
local farmers while in (C)(ii) Landlord be permitted use of
maximum possible amount of land.
(E) Right of access to aerial masts and feeder systems for maintenance.
Where land under rice may be necessary provide small causeways
for this purpose, as safeguard during flooding seasons.
