That a signal sumerising the above agrooments and amplifying the recounondations re land requirements, on the lines of Mr. Wynne-Jɔnos' sugestion, should be sent immediately to the Hong Kong Board
(Copy of signal 201056å attached as Annexo
to these minutes).
That a considerable saving in land would bo
achieved by the use of Self-Supporting aorial Towers,
and the Hong Kɔng Bɔgra shoull investigate the possibility of in; sɔ.
ITEM 2,00. The Chairman said that the Hong Kɔng Bɔard had asked that our
recommendations be cauicated to the Chiefs of Staff or tho Colonial Office in order that they could adviso the Hong Kong Civil Administration direct thus assisting the Communications Board's activitics. He thought the Colonial office was the correct Department to assist in this matter and if the Camsittou ngroed ho pr posol that Mr. Hogs on be asked to signal thɩ Hɔng Kong Civil Administration requesting thou to give the Communications Board every assistance.

The Comittoo approved, and lir. ficcson srid the Cɔlɔnial Office would send a signal to the Hong Kong Civil Administration asking for every assistance to be afforded to the Hong Kon; Si nals Board.
