Reply in regard to (a) as follows:-

Propose that all payments to Custodian of Enemy Property should be validated. Payments would be made in respect of rents and it seems obviously desirable that these should be validated, There were only one or two cases of payment of capital sums not due and it is considered that these should be validated subject to the right to reopen for dureas or fraud. To the best of our belief, there were no payments by the Custodian so this point does not arise.
