My deal Caine,
I am still confined to my room, but after a certain amount of argument with my medico, I was allowed to see your reply to my letter of January 10th.
I have done my best to have a reply prepared as soon as possible, and this will be sent to you in a day or two.
It may be some time yet before I am permitted to return to the office, but I hope it will not be too long. In the meantime, as I am anxious to prevent any delay in the further discussion of the matter, I have asked Sir Edward Reid, H.E.Muriel and J.R.Jones to take my place and they will be at your disposal to discuss the matter as soon as you desire to call another meeting.
Yours sincerely,
