CIVIL AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION.

It is hereby notified that Sealed Tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for erection of cooking stove at Queen Mary Hospital" will be received at the office of the Chairman, Tender Board, Public Works Branch, Civil Affairs Headquarters, until noon on Friday, 12th April, 1946, for erection of one brick cooking stove at Queen Mary Hospital situated at Pokfulam.

Tenderers must attach to each tender a receipt that they have deposited at the Treasury, Prince's Building, Des Voeux Road, the sum of $100.00 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Administration, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted. Forms of tender, specification and further particulars may be obtained from the Building Office, St. George's Building, 3rd floor, Chater Road.

The Administration does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender, and reserves the right to accept all or any part of each tender.

Only Contractors on Government Authorised Lists will be permitted to tender.

It is hereby notified that Sealed Tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to Government Quarters Nos. 1-6 Ventris Road" will be re- ceived at the office of the Chairman, Tender Board, Public Works Branch, Civil Affairs Headquarters, until noon on Friday, 12th April, 1946, for general major repairs at Government Quarters Nos. 1-6 Ventris Road, Hong Kong.

Tenderers must attach to each tender a receipt that they have deposited at the Treasury, Prince's Building, Des Voeux Road, the sum of $500.00 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Administration, if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.

Forms of tender, specification and further particulars may be obtained from the Building Office, St. George's Building, 3rd floor, Chater Road.
