within the meaning of Section 3 of the Currency Ordinance, 1935, for the amount in dollars over-printed thereon.

(3) The Chief Civil Affairs Officer may be notice to the public declare the period within which all, or any class, of the said notes may be redeemed by exchanging for the same at such times and places and generally in such manner as he may specify, currency notes issued by the Hong Kong Government or bank notes issued by the note-issuing banks, of a denominational value equivalent to the denominational value over-printed on the said notes described in the Second Schedule here to.

ARTICLE 6.

RATE OF STERLING EXCHANGE. Until further notice the rate of exchange shall be One Hong Kong Dollar equals One Shilling and Threepence.
