36A. (1) Except where otherwise provided, in relation (Cam 101)

to the initial and annual allowances on machinery or plant-

(a) enctions 37, 37A, 38 and 39 shall apply to the years of assessment up to and including the year of assessment commencing on the 1st April 1979; and

(6) sections 398, 39C and 390 shall apply to the year of assessment commencing on the 1st April 1980 and ta subsequent years of assessment.

(2) Where in relation to any machinery or plant the Commissioner is satisfied that in respect of any year of assessment commencing on or after the 1st April 1980 the application of any of the provisions of the sections referred
