As Ordinance to amend the Pensions Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pensions (Ameodmeni) Stort ude. Ordinance 1979.

2 The principal Ordinance is amended by adding, after section 24, Addition of the following section-

The Governor may delegate the Secretary for the (C40. 89) Civil Service or a Deputy Secretary for the Civil Šervice to exercise the power to make orders in respect of a pensionable office conferred on him by the definition of “pensionable office" in section 2; and thereupon, or from the date specified by the Governor, the person delegated shall have and may

exercise such power.".
