As Ordinance to amend the Births and Deathy Registration Ordinancei

(2016 July, 1979)

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Births and Deaths Registra- Short dike. tido (Amendment) Ordinance 1979.

Section 13 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

Aubendosen në rection 13.

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "In" and substituting the following (Exp. 174.)

“Subject to subsection (3A), in"; and

(6) by inserting after subsection (3) the following subsection-

"(A) No alteration or addition to the name or dames of a child, in any register book of births, shall be made under this section after the child has attained the age of 11 years.".
