An Ordinance to amend the Registration of Persons Ordinance.

Enscted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Registration of Persoas Short title (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1979,

2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding, after section 1. Addition of the following section—

"Interpretation.

IA. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires--

"family" means persons living in Hong Kong of 11 years of age and over and under 18 years who are related to or dependent on the head of a family;

"bead of a family" means-

(a) a person who is in loco parentis to any other person living in Hong Kong of 11 years or over and under 18 years; and

(6) any person having lawful custody or control of

or over, any such other person;
