An Ordinance to amend the Registration of Persons Ordinance.

Enucled by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Registration of Persons Soom due. (Amendment) Ordinance 1979.

2. The long tille of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of after "issue" the following-

3. Section 7(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of after paragraph (i) the following

"(i) the making of an order by the Governor in Counell requiring ovory person, or every person of such class or such description as may be specified in the order, to carry his identity card when

in such area or place, on such occasion, for such purpose or in such circumstance as may be specified in the order;

(b) the production, by a person required to carry his identity card. of such card to a police officer, or member of the Immigration Service and any other person authorized by or under the regulations:"".
