An Ordinance to amend the Immigration Ordinance,

Enacted by the Gavemar of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Immigration (Amendment) Sport, tille. Ordinance 1979,

* Section 18 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of after subsection (2) the following subsections-

"(3) Subsection (2) shall not apply if it appears to the Director that the person refused permission to land was previously resident in Victnam.

(4) Subsection (3) shall expire on 31st December 1979 unless the Legislative Council by resolution otherwise determines.".
