An Ordinance to amend the Deposit-taking Companies Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1 (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Deposit-liking Companies Shon date and (Amendment) Ordinance 1978.

(2) Section 9 shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by

the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

"account" means all methods of keeping accounts whether

in writing, print or by any machine or device; "auditor" means a professional accountant holding a practis- log certificate and provided in the Professional Accountants Ordinancer

"money at call" means money payable within not more than 24 hours of a demand therefor, but does not include monoy payable on demand;
