19. Section 42(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by delel ing "23,".
20. Section 43 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by renumbering subsections (1) and (2) as subsections (2) and (3)
respectively; and
(6) by inserting the following subsection-
"(1) Every pressure accumulation test to which a boiler is subjected for the purposes of this Ordinance shall be carried out--
(a) under full firing conditions,
(b) with the feed water shut off; and
(c) with the stop valves closed except to the extent that it is necessary for any stop valve to be open to supply steam to auxiliary equipment for the purposes of the test.",
21. Section 44 of the principal Ordinance la amended-
(a)
in subsection (1) by deleting “an existing boiler or pressure receiver that is being examined for the purposes of section 23 or of":
(b) in subsection (318) by deleting "plus fifty pounds per squa
inch": and
(c) by deleting subsection (4) and substituting the following
"(4) An hydraulic test of an air receiver sbali, in relation to the pressure that will be specified in the certificate of 6tness as the maximum permissible working pressure of the air receiver, be as follows-
(a) in the case of a seamless steel air bottle-
() shall be to twice that pressure where the maximum permissible working pressure does not exceed 2,000 pounds per square inch (or the $1 cquivalent oamely 13.789 megapasculs);
(i) shall be to that pressure plus 2.000 pounds per square inch for the SI equivalent namely 13.789 megapascals) where the maximum permissible work- fog pressure exceeds 2.000 pounds per square juch but does not exceed 4,000 pounds per square inch (or the SI equivalent namely 27.579 megapascals); | and
(ii) shall be to one and one-half times that pressure where the maximum permissible working pressure exceeds 4,000 pounds per square inch for The ST equivalent namely 27.579 megapascals); and
(6) in the case of other air receivers-
O shall be to twice that pressure where the maximum permissible working pressure does not axceed 100 pounds per square inch (or the SI equivalcol namely 689.476 kilopascals); and
(i) shall be to one and one-half times that pres. sure plus 50 pounds per square inch (or the SI oquivalent namely 344.738 kilopascals) where the maximum permissible working pressure exceeds 100 pounds per square inch for the Sĩ equivalent namely 689.476 kilopascals).".
12. Section 46 of the principal Ordinance is repealed.

23. Section 47 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of subsection (1) and substituting the following—
"(1) Where a new boiler or pressure receiver is being examined for the purposes of section 24, an appointed examiner shall determine the maximum permissible working pressure at which, in his opinion, the boiler or pressure receiver, as the case may be, may be operated.".
24. Section 30 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "subsection (1) of section 11"; and (8) in subsection (2) by deleting "IZ.".

25. Section 59(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amended f after “portable gas generator" the following-
"and may for the purpose of such application require that the portable gas generator be examined by an appointed examiner".

26. Section 64(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Arcodagen at after "by a factory inspector" the following-
"or by an inspector (land boilers)"".
