(b) in providing any information to the Authority in

respect of such matter,

which he knows to be false or misleading as to a material particular shall be guilly of an offence and shall be liablo on conviction to a fus of one hundred thousand dollars and to imprisonment for six months.”.

Section 29A of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following section–—

29A. Notwithstanding anything in the Magistrates Ordin-

2000 -

(a) proceeding in respect of an offence against any section of this Ordinance, other than section 26(2), may be brought at any time within two years nexi after the commission of the offence or within six months after the discovery thereof by the prosecutor, whichever period expired first;

(b) proceedings in respect of an offence against section 26(2) may be brought at any time within six years next after the commission of the offence or within six months after the discovery thereof by the prosecutor, whichever period expires fiest.".

10. Section 30(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after paragraph in the following pansgraph-

"(fa) The management and control of common parts;”.

IL. Section 32 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "Any part of an estate, which is nol the subject of a lease," and substituting the following~-

"Aay land in an estate (other than land leased under section 16 or land which has been sold or otherwise disposed of under section 1TA) vested in or under the control and management of the Authority".

12. Section 35 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "letter, notice or document" and substituting the following-

"assignment, agreement, deed of mutual covenant, letter, notice or

other document".

13. Section 41(1Xao) of the Buildings Ordinance is amended by inserting before "building" the following-

"subject to section 18(2) and (3) of the Housing Ordinance.",
