An Ordinance to amend the Crimes Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Crimes (Amendment) Ordin Short title, adice 1978.
2. Section 47 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
Arendenean
AE00 47.
(a) by deleting "male person" wherever it appears in subsections (1), (Can. 200)
(3) and (4) and substituting the following in each place--
"man":
(b) by deleting "female person" wherever it appears in subsections
(1) and (2) and substituting the following in each place-
"woman":
(c) in subsection (1), by deleting "carnal knowledge of" and sub-
stituting the following-
"sexual intercourse with":
(d) in the proviso to subsection (1) by deleting "section 6 of the Protection of Women and Juveniles Ordinance" and substituting the following-
"section 123":
(c) in subsection (2), by deleting "carnal knowledge" and substinur-
ing the following---
"sexical folercourse":
