(2) The Exchange Fund Ordinance is amended- (a) io section 2-

() in the definition of "bank notes lawfully issued", by deleting", the Mercantile Bank Natė Issue Ordinance"; and

(ii) in the definition of "oote-issuing bank”-

(A) by inserting after "The Chartered Bank," the following--

"and"; and

(B) by deleting and Mercantile Bank Limited"; and (8) in section 5 by deleting "the Ordinances of Charters" and sub-

stituting the following-

"any Ordinance or charter".
