Ap Ordinance to amend the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Company

(Services) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong and Yaumati Son tile. Ferry Company (Services) (Amcadment) Ordinance 1977.

Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of before the definition of "Company" the following new definition-

"""Commissioner" means the Commissioner for Transport;".

1. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after acction 4 Addition of the following new sections-

"Algeration of router and

Lechporary services.

4A. Notwithstanding section 4, the Commissioner may, after consultation with the Company, the Director of Maring and the Director of Public Works and with the consent of the Company, grant licences to the Company in such form and subject to such conditions as he may specify to-

(a) alter temporarily ferry services authorized by

section 4; or

(b) operate temporary ferry services that are not

authorized by section 4,
