is in excess of the amount which, in the opinion of the Official Receiver, is required for the time being to wowwer demands in respect of debtors' estates, the Official Receiver may deposit the whole or any part of that excess with the back in which the account is kept.

(2) The Official Receiver shall on or after the 31st day of March in each year transfer to the general revenue boy interest paid in respect of deposits under subsection (1),".

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the District Court (Amendment) stort the. (No. 2) Ordinance 1976.

2. Section 501X5) of the principal Ordinance is amended...

Amendment of Mection 5.

(a) by deleting the full atop at the end of sub-paragraph (vii) and (Cap. 136)

substituting the following-

"or":

(b) by inserting, after sub-paragraph (vii), the following new sub-

paragraph-

(Ca. 91)

“(víü) been a Director, Deputy Director or Assistant Director of Legal Aid appointed in accordance with section 3 of the Legal Aid Ordinance.".
