An Ordinance to amend the Credit Unions Ordinance.
[25th June, 1976]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Credit Unions (Amendment) short chle. Ordinance 1976.
2. Section 59 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by Repeal and the following

59. Notwithstanding any requirement in any rules made (C. 1193 under the Companies Ordinance relating to the winding-up of companies, no deposit with the Official Receiver shall be required in repect of a petition under section 57 or 58.".
3. Section 72(1) of the principal Ordinance ja imended by inserting Amendment of after "this section" the following—
"and shall not be used in any other manner except with the prior approval in writing of the Registrar”.
