(c) by inserting after subsection (4) the following new subsections-
"(5) In addition to the holidays granted by subsection (1) an employee shall each year be granted a holiday by his employer on a day to be fixed by the employer not being a statutory holiday, an alternative holiday "or" sub- atlluted holiday. #6
(6) A day fixed as a holiday under subsection (5) shall be notified by an employer to each of his employees by notice posted in a conspicuous place in the place of employ- ment dot later than the end of the year next preceding the year in which the holiday under subsection (5) is granted.
(7) An employer shall cause any notice posted under subsection (6) to remain yo posted until the end of the year next following the year in which it was posted.
(8) If an employer does not 6x a day to be a holiday under subsection (3) or notify a day so fixed in the manner required by subsection (6) every employee shall be granted a foliday on the first weekday in July or on the first Monday in August, at the option of the employer.”.
3. Section 40 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by inserting after the words "statutory holiday" where they first

An Ordinance to amend the Road Traffic Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and coosent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
GON ELENA SA KADAR BIGOT.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Road Trafic (Amendment) Short die and (No. 2) Ordinance 1976 and shall come into operation on a day to bo appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.
2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 20 Addurua of the following new section-

20A. (1) Subject to this section, any person who uses (Cap. 220.) a motor cycle on-
(o) a pedestrian road; or
(b) any unleased Crown land which is not a road, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction. to a fine of $2,000.
(2) Subsection (1) shall not apply to any person in the public service of the Crown while he is driving a molar cycle in the course of his duties.
(3) Nothing in subsection (1) shall probibit a person from driving a motor cycle on a pedestrian road or on
