An Ordinance to amend the Places of Public Entertainment Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Places of Public Entertain- sport vide ment (Amendment) Ordinance 1976.
Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by Repeal and the following

4. (1) No person shall keep or use any place of public (Csp. 1720 entertainment without a licence granted under this Ordinance.
(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of ten thousand dollars and imprisonment for six months, and to a further fios of one thousand dollars for every day during which the offence has continued.".
Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1) by inserting after "film" the following-
"(including any trailer or excerpt)",
