An Ordinance to amend the Commissions of Inquiry Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Commissions of Inquiry Start . (Amendment) Ordinance 1976.

1 Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "4" Amendment at

in paragraph (e) and substituting the following-

"407",

3 Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended by............

(a) deleting "and" at the end of paragraph (m);

(8) Inserting after paragraph (m) the following new paragraph-

"(ma) where the Commission has been appointed to Inquire into the conduct or management of a public body or any other body of persons, corporate or unincorporate, then, subject to subsection (3), "appoint, on such terms BS to remuneration as the Financial Secretary may approve, one or more inspectors—

(i) to inspect all the books and documents of or relating to the affairs of such body; and
