4. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after: section 19 the following new section--

"Notice of

19A. (1) Where a lease has been terminated under sec- tion 1903)(3) or (ma), the Authority shall, as soon as prac- ticable after such termination, serve notice in writing thereof on the tenant specifying the date of the termination and the reasons therefor.

(2) Service of a notice required to be served under subsection (1) may be effected—”

(a) by delivering It to the tenant personally; or

(b) by sending it by post to the tenant al his last

known postal address; or l

(c) where the last known postal address of the tensal is that of the premises which are the subject of the lease, by affixing the notice to the door of the premises.

"

Section 20 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(0) by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following–

"(D) Where a lewe bar beza terminated under sec- tion 19(1 Ma) or (aa), or where a notice to quit has been given under section 19(1)(5), the tousut may appeal to the committer, appointed by the Authority under section 7(2), not later than ten days after the date on which-

(a) service of the notice of termination has been effected

under section 19A(2); or

(5) notice to quit has been given under section 19(1)(b),

as the case may be."; and

(6) in subsection (3)(a), by inserting after "section 19(1Xa)” the fol-

lowing-

"or (da)".

6. Section 28 of the principal Ordinance is amended by—

(a) being renumbered as subsection (1) thereof; and

(b) inserting the following new subsection-

“(2) Any person who, knowing that a lease has been altered without the consent of the Authority, makes any claim under, upon or by virtue of the same shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of two thousand dollars and to imprisonment for six months.".

7. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 29

new section 29. the following wow section.........
