An Ordinance to provide for the continuation after the 31st March 1976 of membership of the members of the Town Planning Board and to confer validity upon acts and things done, and meetings held, by that Board after that date, until the 3rd June 1976 (inclusive).

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Town Planning Board Shon dum, (Validation) Ordinance 1976.

2. Those persons who, whether by reason of office or otherwise, Coonitulipo of were, on the 31st March 1976, members of the Town Planning Board appointed under section 2 of the Town Planning Ordinance shall for all purposes whatsoever be deemed to have continued thereafter, until the the 3rd June 1976 (inclusive), to be members of that Board notwith standing that they were appointed to be members of that Board for a period of two years with effect from the 1st April 1974; and, accordingly, all acts and things done, and meetings held by that Board after the 31st March 1976 and before the 4th June 1976 shall not, by reason only that the members were appointed for a period of two years with effect from the 1st April 1974 as aforesaid, be deemed to have been invalidly or ineffectively done or held.
