An Ordinance to amend the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance.

[28th May, 1976]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health and Urban soIL QUE, Services (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1976,

2 Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting the Amendment of definition of "drink" and substituting the following-

""Urink" does not include water other than water from natural springs, either in it natural state or with added mineral substancca, dis- tilled water and aerated water;"

3. Section 59 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of subsection (1) and substituting the following new subsectionS-

200). Any public officer authorized in writing in that behalf by the Authority may-----

(a) cxamine any food which is, or which appears to him to be, intended for human consumption, or any drug which is, of which appears to him to be, intended for use by man; and (b) seize and remove such food or drug or any package in which the same was contained if it appears to him that such food
