An Ordinance to amend the Midwives Registration Ordinance.

[28th May, 1976)

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and com

cest of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Midwives Registration Sven due, (Amendment) Ordinance 1976,

2. Section 3(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended-

Amendment of GACOR 3.

() in paragraph (6), by deleting "Matron" and substituting the cap 162

following-

"Nursing Officer"; and

(h) by deleting paragraph (e) and substituting the Following---

"(e) one registered midwife to be nominated by each hospital or group of hospitals (ather than a Govern- ment hospital or group of hospitals) declared by the Board under regulations made under this Ordinance to be a training school for midwives, and appointed by the Governoć;".

3. Section 7(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting Amendment of

after "Board", in the second place where it appears, the following- section 7.
