(5) For the purposes of this section— "double bet" means the form of betting where the first

horse in each of two races has to be selected; "forecast bet" means the form of betting where, in one race, the first and second horses in the correct finishing order have to be selectediş

"place bet" means the form of betting where, in 'ane race,

the first horse, or the first or second horse, or the first.. second or third horse, as the case may be, has to be selected in order to be paid a dividend from the place pool; "quinella bet" means the form of betting Where, in one;

race, the first two horses have to be selected;

3, Section 2 shall have effect in respect of every bel made, cash sweep ticket sold and cash-sweep chance allocated untor after the April 1975.

An Ordinance to amend the Business Registration Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Business Registration (Amend- Start dike. menų) Ordinance 1975.

1. Section 2(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended.

Amendment of vectigo 3.

(a) in the definition of "business" by inserting after "gain" the (Cap. 2192

following-

"and also means a club"; and

(8) by inserting after the definition of "business" the following new

definition-

**club" means any corporation or association of persons formed for the purpose of affording its members facilities for social intercourse or recreation and which-

(a) provides services for its members (whether or not

for the purposes of gain); and

(b) has club premises of which its members have a

right of exclusive use:”,
