An Ordinance to amend the Police Force Ordinance.

[28th February, 1975]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Police Force (Amend- Short title.

ment) Ordinance 1975.

2. Section 13 of the principal Ordinance is amended by-

(a) being renumbered as subsection (1) thereof; and

(b) inserting the following new subsection-

"(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), a gazetted police officer may not resign from the police force except by-

(a) giving to the Commissioner three months' notice in writing of his intention to resign;
