An Ordinance to amend the Evidence Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Evidence (Amend- Short title. ment) Ordinance 1975.

2. Section 27 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) in subsection (1)—

(i) by deleting "the Chinese language" in the first place where it occurs and substituting the following-

"a language other than the English language": (i) in paragraph (c) by deleting "in the Chinese. language": and
