An Ordinance to amend the Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation)

Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) (Amendment) Ordinance 1973.

2. Section 18 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after subsection (4) the following new subsection-

"(5) Where, after the commencement of the Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) (Amendment) Ordinance 1973, an agreement is made for the surrender or termination of a tenancy under subsection (5), the premises to which the agreement relates shall be excluded from the further applica- tion of this Part.".
