3. Any act or thing done before the commencement of this Ordinance by a member of the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force in purported exercise of the powers of a police officer under or for the purposes of subsection (1) or (2) of section 15 of the principal Ordinance shall be deemed to have been as valid as if it bad been done by a police officer.

consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hoseince Society Short title.
of Hong Kong Incorporation (Amendment) Ordinance 1973.
2. Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended---
(a) in subsection (2) by deleting “further":

by inserting after subsection (2) the following new sub- sections-
"(3) The corporation shall have power to develop and turn to account any land within the Colony or elsewhere acquired by the corporation or in which the corporation is interested, and in particular by laying out and preparing the same for
