An Ordinance to provide for security of tenure and the preven- tion of increases in rent in respect of certain tenancies of domestic premises, and for purposes connected therewith.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof,

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Domestic Premises (Tenure and Rent) (Temporary Provisions) Ordinance 1973.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Rating and Valua-

tion:

"court" means the District Court:

"landlord" includes any person, other than the Crown, who is from time to time entitled to receive rent in respect of any premises and, in relation to a particular tenant, means a person entitled to receive rent from such tenant;
