4. Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is amended-- (a) in subsection (1) by deleting The marketing officer or any officer employed full time by the Crown and" and, substituting the following--

"The Director, any police officer, or any manager"

(b) in subsection (3) by deleting offices and substituting

the following-

"manager".

5. Section 16 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) în subsection (2) by deleting "not more than six other

persons" and substituting the following-

"such other members as are":

An Ordinance to amend the Employment Ordinance:

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Employment (Amendment) Ordinance 1973 and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

2. Part VII of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-

"PART VIL

EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES

28. (1) In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires--

"certificate of exemption" means a certificate issued

under section 28D;

"employment agency” means a person who operates

a business the purpose of which is

(a) to obtain employment for another person; or
