An Ordinance to amend the Evidence Ordinance.

[2nd February, 1973]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Evidence (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1973.

2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 32 the following new sections-

"Prints of films of public documents.

33. (1) A print, whether enlarged or not, pur- porting to be made from a film of a public document and purporting to be certified to be a print made from a film of a public document by the public officer or person who has custody of the film sha‍l be admitted in evidence in any criminal or civil proceedings before any court on its production with- out further proof.
